Our Mother Sucker onesie has a fan…. Kelly Hu! Granted this picture is old but I recently found it in my files while rebuilding my new website & blog (Grand Opening June 2011!).  It was taken in June at the Kari Feinstein MTV Style Lounge 2006. We were fortunate to be able to participate as part of The Sampler exhibit.

The Sampler is a monthly subscription box filled with goodies from indie crafters. There’s a ton of different companies now that do it but the Sampler was one of the first and then everyone started copying the concept. It’s a great way to promote your business if you’re a crafter and also a fun thing if you’re a subscriber and just love to get great random things in the mail.

Kelly Hu was definitely the most famous person photographed with our onesies. I have a few more photos of other celebs that I’ll get to later, maybe by then they’ll be slightly more recognizable too.

I love that Kelly Hu is on Hawaii 5-0 every once in a while too. I watch it for the scenery and to see what kind of weird things the writers put in. Like Mc Garrett & Danno pushing a car up the Pali with Diamond Head in the background… or Mc Garret’s house that has a Piikoi address with beachfront property. The gratuitous shirtless scenes with Mc Garrett are a nice bonus. Cheers!
