I started making soap lei a long time ago, back when I had a handcrafted soap business and before I had my daughter. So I have a ton of this clear poly tubing leftover in a 2″ wide and 3″ wide size.and just put it up for sale in my shop. What else can you do with clear poly tubing you ask? Well, you can make more leis of course!

Clear Poly Tubing Soap Lei

While in Hawaii last week I saw popcorn lei for sale at Windward Mall. What a great idea! Colored candy popcorn filling the tube. You could fill the entire tube and make a big fat lei or tie off smaller sections of popcorn. I received a Lego-filled lei when I graduated from architecture school from my friend, Dayle.

The possibilities are endless! Candy is always a good choice: Hershey kisses, lollipops, easter eggs filled with jelly beans, pretty much anything could be put in this clear poly tubing and make a great lei. Small little toys for the birthday boy or girl, Fill it with pens, pencils and erasers for those graduating from high school and off to college.
