Handcrafted Crayons

The trend now is “Be Green!”. So we’re being green and red and blue and yellow… with our handcrafted crayons. Recycled from non-toxic crayons, we make use of all the poor, broken crayons that would otherwise be headed to the landfill and bring them back to life.

These handcrafted crayons are an easy-to-use square perfect for little hands and their rainbow swirl of colors will bring out the artist in kids of all ages.

Hand Body Lotion - White Tea & Ginger

White Tea & Ginger  is my favorite scent from Bath & Body Works – it’s light and sweet but smells  SO good.  I also love hand & body lotion, especially when it’s thick and creamy like this lotion.  I made this lotion just for me with a duplicate of the White Tea & Ginger scent from Bath & Body Works.  Smells just like the real thing! It’s pretty difficult to just make one bottle of lotion so I made a LOT and it’s for sale in my shop.  It absorbs nicely into your skin and leaves you feeling soft and silky smooth.

This handmade White Tea & Ginger Hand and Body Lotion comes in a handy pump dispenser and fits in your purse or medicine cabinet so it’s always ready for you.

Sony Pocket Reader Cover

My sister, Sherry, gave me a sewing machine for Christmas last year.  I took several summers of sewing classes as a kid so I know how to sew although I’m a bit rusty but started dabbling in it again.  This is a cover I made for my Sony Pocket Reader.

I looked at covers to buy but they were all bulky and some had lights built in.  All I wanted was a sleeve to protect the screen so I could keep it in my purse.  So I designed this one to be snug and lightweight but sturdy.  It’s 2 layers of fabric with an interfacing so it’s fairly stiff.  I added an elastic band and a button to make it easy to take on and off.

It turned out perfect!  I love how small the Sony Pocket Reader is, I can stick it in my pocket or throw it in my purse and I always have something to read when I’m waiting.  It was so nice to have on the plane instead of a stack of heavy magazines and books in my bag.

I made a few extra covers in different prints that fit the Sony Pocket Reader and they’re for sale in my shop.  I’ve got more cute fabrics so maybe I’ll make even more and change them to suit my mood.
